Scholarship Opportunities!
NH PDC for Vision Education offers scholarship support to educators, related service providers and parents of students with vision loss to support attendance at relevant conferences and trainings.
Eligibility requirements:
In order to be eligible for scholarship support,
- The educator or related service provider must be currently working with NH students who are blind or visually impaired in a public school setting.
- Parents of students aged 3 -21 who have a diagnosed vision impairment are also eligible to apply for funds.
- The funds must be applied to conferences or other training events that are directly related to vision education.
- The applicant must show that funds were sought from other sources, such as school district resources, and determined to be not available or inadequate to meet the full expense of attendance.
Process for Applying For Funds:
- Applicant must complete the "Request for Scholarship Support" at least 6 weeks before the event.
- Each application will be reviewed by the established Scholarship Committee to assure that request meets the eligibility requirements.
